Arrive Madrid (Spain)
Day 1: Tuesday 15 May
Check into the breathtaking Westin Palace Madrid. The grand old building sits within the ‘Art Triangle’ – the Prado, Thyssen, and Reina Sofia museums are only a short stroll away.
An evening of outstanding Spanish food and wine awaits at tonight’s Welcome Dinner.
Madrid
Day 2: Wednesday 16 May
Between boulevards and colourful lanes, we get to grips with the Spanish capital, touring its main sights including the Royal Palace. Later, enjoy some spare moments to yourself. Or, you may like to get to know the city on one of our cultured Your World experiences.
- A half-day guided tour of the Prado Museum helps you contextualise the legacy of watercolour and sculpture.
- Football fans won’t want to pass up the chance to visit Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
We look forward to showing you one of our favourite places for tapas this evening. Nibble on tasting plates of unforgettable flavours.
Madrid
Day 3: Thursday 17 May
In which direction will our Your World experiences take you?
- Toldeo was built upon a gorge overseeing the Tagus river. Spend the day touring the relics of its Christian, Muslim and Jewish communities from the Middle Ages.
- Step back to a Spain of yesteryear in Avila and Segovia. Within its imposing stone ramparts, we find 2,500 turrets, numerous churches and walled palaces.
Tonight, we take in a seductive flamenco performance at one of Madrid’s most exclusive venues, Cardamomo. A tapas dinner prepared by chef Alberto Azpillaga follows.
Barcelona
Day 4: Friday 18 May
Mountains, rivers and arid plains drift by on the high-speed AVE train to Barcelona. Here, the El Palace Hotel hosts us for the next two nights.
After ambling through the Gothic Quarter, we enjoy our dinner al fresco amongst the blooms on our hotel’s rooftop garden. The intricate facade of the Sagrada Familia rests in full sight. Afterwards, choose to call it a night or join us on a unique after dark Your World experience.
- Join locals for a glass of cava or a refreshing ale as you’re escorted to some of the city’s most atmospheric taverns.
Barcelona
Day 5: Saturday 19 May
Select your preferred Your World experience.
- Drive past some of Gaudí’s most famous creations as well as the 1992 Olympic Village on the way out of the city. We then take the cog-wheel train to Montserrat for panoramic views of the city and the sea.
- Visit a cava house and meet a local castellers team before lunch in the cloisters of a 17th-century country house.
Tonight, grab yourself a seat at the bar and join us for a tapas feast. Delicious morsels are enjoyed one toothpick at a time.
Barcelona
Day 6: Sunday 20 May
Embark Ship
After a free morning, lap up your last taste of Catalan cuisine over lunch, before boarding Silver Muse in the afternoon.
Ibiza
Day 7: Monday 21 May
We trundle across the aquamarine waters of the Balearic Sea to Ibiza. Today’s discovery takes place away from its hallowed dance floors as we wander the cobblestone streets of the World Heritage-listed old town. After a bountiful seafood lunch by the ocean, we’re ready for this afternoon’s Your World experience.
- We’ve chartered a yacht for a private cruise around the island. Kick back under the sun with a cocktail in hand.
Majorca
Day 8: Tuesday 22 May
The jewel in the crown of Spain’s Balearic Islands, Majorca. In keeping with the easygoing nature of the island, our day unfolds as we please on a Your World experience.
- The capital of the island is revealed on a gentle city tour. Highlights include Bellver Castle and the old quarter.
- Explore the subterranean Caves of Drach. A quiet boat ride exposes a collection of impressive stalactite formations.
Corsica (France)
Day 9: Wednesday 23 May
Mountains crinkle around the island of Corsica like a granite fortress. A formidable backdrop to the palm-fringed beaches and brasseries. We step ashore in Calvi to explore its 15th-century citadel. You may enjoy an afternoon at leisure, though our Your World experience is not to be missed.
- Board a Zodiac vessel and zip through the jagged cliffs and hidden inlets of Scandola Nature Reserve. Inaccessible by road, here, vertical mountains guard glittering waters.
Marseille
Day 10: Thursday 24 May
Watch fishermen ply their catches along the quay as we step ashore at the old port of Marseille. Enjoy a day to yourself or join a Your World experience.
- Get your bearings on a half-day guided city tour, enjoying lunch back on board your ship before a free afternoon.
- Art devotees won’t want to miss the full-day tour to Aix-en-Provence, which includes a visit to Cézanne’s studio.
St Tropez
Day 11: Friday 25 May
Multi-million dollar yachts welcome us to St Tropez with a nod. From the rusty coloured townhouses wedged by the old port, we embrace the racy Riviera lifestyle on a leisurely walking tour. Admire petanque players in the central square and amble onwards to the old town. There’s also time to capture more of the city’s seaside scenes at your own pace.
As the sun melts into the horizon, dinner is served at one of the exclusive brassieres by the water.
Monte Carlo
Day 12: Saturday 26 May
Three Your World experiences await in Monte Carlo today.
- It’s no coincidence our visit coincides with the Monaco Grand Prix. Enjoy unobstructed views of the qualifications from the exclusive Club F1, located the within the famous Dance Academy building overlooking St Devote corner.
- Tour the city then head for the medieval village of Eze.
- Cast your eyes over the city after dark. Swing by the Casino de Monte Carlo and other night-time institutions.
Monte Carlo
Day 13: Sunday 27 May
Choose from two Your World experiences.
- Head back to Club F1 for the start of the Monaco Grand Prix. Between the 78 laps of this legendary street circuit we enjoy a buffet lunch and free-flowing beverages.
- Sail along the Cote D’Azur coast on a private boat.
Livorno (Italy)
Day 14: Monday 28 May
Welcome to Livorno, on the west coast of Tuscany. The day develops as we please thanks to our Your World experiences.
- Walk through the city with a local guide at the helm.
- Call upon Tenuta Argentiera winery for a light Tuscan lunch and a wine tasting with views of the Etruscan Coast.
- On a full-day tour to Florence, the Officina Profumo and the Oltrarno district await our inspection.
Rome
Day 15: Tuesday 29 May
For most of us, this will not be our first taste of the Italian capital. With a private guide, enjoy a Your World experience.
- The Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Pantheon are illuminated before a wine tasting.
- Uncover Vatican City and its main attractions. The experience concludes with an antipasto tasting.
Sorrento
Day 16: Wednesday 30 May
Colourful cottages crammed atop terraced cliffs. Olive trees swaying in the sultry breeze. Today we dock in Sorrento. The day is yours at leisure. Or, embark on a Your World experience.
- Positano, Ravello and Amalfi. We’re dazzled by some of the world’s most beautiful coastal scenes along the Amalfi Coast.
- Visit one of the most famous producers of the Campania wine region for lunch and a tasting in a private villa.
Sicily
Day 17: Thursday 31 May
Sicily, the wild island of orange blossom and citrus fruit. We arrive in Taormina ready for a Your World experience.
- Set out on a full-day tour, including the Greco-Roman theatre and the gardens of the Villa Comunale.
- Take a helicopter ride over pine forests and black lava deserts to Europe’s tallest active volcano, Mt Etna.
Katakolon (Greece)
Day 18: Friday 1 June
We’re at the gateway to Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games. From the sleepy Greek port town of Katakolon we select one of two Your World experiences.
- A walking tour gives context to the World Heritage-listed ruins of Ancient Olympia. Visit the Temple of Zeus, the stadium and more.
- Explore Katakolon by foot then wriggle your toes in the immaculate sands at Kourouta beach.
Give in to the relaxed pace of life. A laid-back taverna dinner on the harbour of Katakolon presents an array of simple yet tantalising dishes.
Saranda (Albania)
Day 19: Saturday 2 June
Where the Adriatic and Ionian seas converge, iridescent white sand beaches are lapped by impossibly blue waters. We’re greeted by the Albanian Riviera. From Saranda, the magical hillside town of Gjirokastra awaits our exploration.
Dubrovnik (Croatia)
Day 20: Sunday 3 June
Dubrovnik’s imposing ramparts glow the colour of rosé in the soft morning light. It’s a pleasure to step ashore at the famous harbour. Choose a Your World experience today.
- Along marbled alleys polished to a shine, we get our bearings on a comprehensive walking tour.
- By private boat, explore three of the region’s most beautiful islands - Kolocep, Lopud and Sipan.
Split
Day 21: Monday 4 June
As breakfast is served Split appears. Spend the day by the beach or select a Your World experience.
- Join a local guide as they reveal such sites as Diocletian’s Palace and the Cathedral of St Domnius.
- Cast out along the coast. See the buildings hewn of stone at Trogir on your way to the village of Burni.
Venice (Italy)
Day 22: Tuesday 5 June
Back in Italian waters we disembark Silver Muse ready for an evening amidst the dreamy canal-crossed streets of Venice at Hotel Danieli. A walk through the winding lanes beside the Grand Canal to St Mark’s Square is followed by an afternoon at leisure.
We are known for our ravishing send offs and tonight’s is no exception. Our private Farewell Dinner takes place at the Michelin-starred restaurant of Venissa Winery on the island of Mazzorbo. An exquisite Italian meal is accompanied by the dulcet sounds of a string quartet.
Depart Venice
Day 23: Wednesday 6 June
